Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 25, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services provided by Hamblin Electric (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a licensed electrical and low-voltage contracting business (License #PENDING — add your C-10 electrical contractor license number) offering electrical, home automation, lighting design, audio/video, and network installation services (the “Services”). By using our website or requesting our Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Services
We provide electrical and low-voltage contracting services — including electrical wiring and repair, home automation and smart home systems, lighting design, audio/video and home theater, and network/WiFi installation — to residential and commercial customers. Specific scope of work, pricing, and timelines for any job are set out in the estimate or agreement provided to you before work begins.
2. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are based on the information and access available at the time of inspection and are not final invoices.
Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes once a job is underway (for example, unforeseen wiring conditions).
Any change in scope or price will be communicated to you before additional work is performed, where reasonably possible.
3. Scheduling & Communications
By providing your phone number and email, you agree that we may contact you regarding quotes, appointment confirmations and reminders, service updates, invoices, and review requests, including by text message and email, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
4. Payment
Payment is due as agreed at the time of estimate or invoice, unless otherwise arranged in writing.
We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice.
Past-due balances may be subject to reminder communications and, where applicable, late fees as disclosed at the time of service.
5. Workmanship & Warranty
We perform work in a workmanlike manner consistent with applicable electrical codes and licensing requirements. Any workmanship warranty offered on a specific job will be stated in writing on your invoice or service agreement. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are governed by the manufacturer’s own terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hamblin Electric is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Services, including issues caused by pre-existing conditions, prior electrical work not performed by us, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Cancellations
We ask that you notify us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled appointment. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a rescheduling fee, as disclosed at the time of booking.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective once posted on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
